THEN IT’S WHITE

It’s taken me a little while to really get into the work of The Field, alias of a one Axel Willner. A sense of relaxation is the most apparent and immediately striking feature of this new track, but it’s about halfway through when that vocal sample kicks in that a real feel of the neurotic kicks in which, through it’s subversion of that chilled intro is arguably the song’s greatest success. Deep stuff.
