LITTLE ICE AGE

Solemn and endearing, this track from Torches, does little to shake off those cold thoughts sitting at the back of my mind. You empathise with those bitter sounding words, “the warmer days are over, no apologies,” and can do nothing but be dragged deeper into the singer’s cynical, cold world. “Little Ice Age” is a more than fitting title for something as compelling and arresting as this, much like our ever-changing environment, it feels unavoidable.
