ELEPHANT.

Playlounge are one of the best bands going right now. This video, from their Reeks of Effort pool party in Oxford, probably a watershed moment in their rapscallion DIY movement, validates all my thoughts on them so far. It’s crackly footage, with a near-awful sound, but the quality of their absolute surefire punk hits shines through. With fairy lights, a mass crowd and endless skateboarding, you’d wish you were there (I do).

There’s news too, that they’ve got an upcoming release via Fear & Records, showing that this band are surely destined for greatness, something that their active and enthusiastic attitude to music hopefully rewards.
