A NIGHT/TIES

Canadian wünderkid Joe Roth who goes under the name Tezeta put these tracks out about a month ago and they’re both just sublime, ethereal pop-gems. The real highlight is undoubtedly the first track here, “A Night”, that stands out as this heavy-laden, emotional dance-floor filler whilst “Ties” takes a more straight forward approach in getting your body moving. Roth’s vocal drawl does nothing to undermine the songs beauty, adding a touch of humanity and perhaps sadness to the proceedings.
