THUGGIN’

Apologies for being late to the immense party that is Freddie Gibbs collaborating on an as yet untitled album with Madlib, but if “Thuggin’” is an indicator of where it’s going, it’s bound to be unmissable. What can only be described as a trademark Madlib sample seems to weave around Gibbs’ smooth wordplay, the ebb and flow perfectly conjoined, making for very compelling listening. Awaiting more with eager ears, of course.
