AMOR FATI

Again, due to not having the internet, this track evaded me, much to my annoyance, but once I had properly listened, as ever with the work of Ernest Greene and his Washed Out moniker, I became intently absorbed. Of course, it was released on the first official day of summer, after the Solstice, and looks set to soundtrack beach-faring days and barbeque parties alike. It sounds like an instant-classic, easily one of the best songs he’s released. With the release of this track, I think if there was anymore anticipation on my part to hear the whole of his upcoming debut record, I think I’d physically inflate. Expected for release on the 11th July, through Sub Pop/Weird World.
