WANT A GANG

I’ll be honest. I knew fuck all about Bonjay. It was three words that enticed me to give this song a listen and they are Hard, Mix, Remix. That producer’s fantastical debut album, Defaults, reviewed not too long ago, has had me yearning for more material (good thing he’s started on his next record) so I’ve been snapping up all his remixes with understandably quick attention. This pulsing, jangly affair is tight, with constricting and euphoric synths wrapping themselves around Alanna Stuart’s vocals. It sounds like it came straight off of Defaults, which is no bad thing in my book. Check it out and the harder, harsher-sounding, bass-heavy original below.
