A CHORE

After 6 years away from the music industry, electro post-punk pioneer Tom Vek returned on the 18th April with “A Chore” on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show and again tonight visited the esteemed DJ to premiere his own re-edit of the track, a pulsing and addictive mix that is sure to get those loose limbs flailing. With an upcoming UK tour in June that’s already sold out and the album’s release on the 6th of that month, 2011 seems to be shaping up pretty nicely for someone who’s keep to himself for the last 6 years. Distance obviously does make the heart grow fonder.
