REMIX: Trophy Wife x Esben And The Witch

Here’s a new remix of Oxford’s Trophy Wife from their upcoming tour partners Esben And The Witch. Taking the track “White Horses”, the spooky Brighton trio have filled it with a dark future-techno fuzz and warped vocals, making it pretty damned ominous. There’s such a slow, almost Ratatat-sounding, build up before the track actually becomes anything that a sense of tension quickly becomes apparent and when the vocals do come in, this malicious-sounding undertone doesn’t evaporate. Esben And The Witch have made the ending refrain of “White Horses” sound like a curse, take a listen, you’ll be bewitched.
