Quick Download is our weekly post bringing you a track, old or new, that we have been obsessing over recently. Seeing as I missed out on a track for yesterday, I thought I should do it today.
Sleigh Bells’ album last year, Treats, was really good, making it in to Lewi’s Top Ten. Full of electro metal riffs and sexy vocals it kept both of us pretty hooked, despite myself initially missing out on it. I’m liking this remix, which Diplo posted earlier today on the Mad Decent blog, who commented on the duo’s album as “soo sick, its gave me a stomach ache”. Tell ‘Em is one of the standout tracks that they gave for free via RCRD LBL, way back last year and this remix is a pretty amazing combination of styles that is actually a good primer for the duo if you haven’t heard them before.
