IMPRESSIONS: Lykke Li – I Follow Rivers

Lykke Li’s resurgence has been in full swing since the release of “Get Some/Paris Blue” and with “I Follow Rivers” she shows no sign of abating. A lurid, and almost vulgar electro opening, that reminds me of Depeche Mode, before Lykke opens with the tantalizing lyric, “Oh I beg you, can I follow?” If you’re going to continue being this sexy, you can do whatever you want Lykke Li. Check out a stream of the track below, which, like “Get Some” will leave you wanting more of the tribal beats and electric rhythm.
