Spreading this via his Twitter, here is the demo for Nathan Williams’, A.K.A. Wavves, King of the Beach psychedelic mind-fuck highlight “Baseball Cards”. It’s a loose stoner jam, coming in at over 7 minutes long. It’s got some kind of hypnotic vibe about it that means I feel like I haven’t actually stopped listening to the song yet. It was like eternity on the 3 minute album version but ramp that up to 11 on this demo. Lyrically, it’s not up to scratch but with this longer, expanded vibe, I feel we’re witnessing more of this experimental side Williams’ displayed on his album.
