AHHH SHIT: Nas – Snitch Alibi
Ahhh Shit is a recurring post on any new band, song or video that has recently grabbed my attention. Yes, the title is a reference to the opening of Potholderz by MF Doom.
Here’s a new track from Nas, produced by Boola, who has done a fucking sick job. The beat is brilliant and it compliments Nas’ flow. The song comes together really well, sounding like it’s leaning towards older production values but it’s with this sense of nostalgia that make the song so good. It reminds me of the older Nas songs, so if you’re a fan of his, check this out.
BONUS: Have you heard the Slick Rick cover Nas did for Levi’s earlier this year? This is also extremely good.
