I don’t usually feel that I need to reblog something I’ve read somewhere else very often. Today is a different story. This is Fleet Foxes, the masters of alternative folk. With a dubstep remix. Folk. Dubstep. Together. An insane combination you may think. But whatever the fuck Barbaric Merits has done with the song, they’ve done it well. It’s still recognizable amongst those traditional dubstep electronic beats and buzzes. The new backing beat it gets also adds a sense of strong and unremitting drive, something that all dubstep songs need.

It’s a fucking good remix. Yeah, it’s not as heavy or as bass-bursting as other dubstep songs but to tweak this song in a way that would of made it unrecognizable would of just been wrong. Download it below and enjoy to your heart’s content.
