incredible incredible incredible cover of “pitseleh” by mariss nadler, released as part of her new before july ep, itself a collection of demos and rarities to accompany her prior record july. coincidentally just reading matthew lemay‘s excellent 33 1/3 entry on XO, which really expounds upon the record, elliott’s songwriting and the nature of “authenticity” in a relatively fresh way, highly recommended.
