FUTILE DEVICES

Sufjan Stevens is probably one of my favourite artists of all time and his 2010 records “The Age of Adz” totally summarises why I love his work so much, a perfect mix of acoustic guitar mastery, electronic abstraction, incredible/mental lyricism and plain old beautiful music. Imagine my delight to hear this remix for “Futile Devices” by the super Shigeto, it’s brilliant, giving this calm and melodic track a little electronica twist that proves very rewarding.
