SITTING HIGH ON THE MOUNTAINSIDE

Unknown Mortal Orchestra landed in the UK this week to play some shows and their debut on Tuesday at The Lexington was an impressive, packed out and enlightening gig. Their debut album, released this week, is a tour de force of antiquated rhythms and sounds you’d more likely expect from 40 years ago, that definitely warrants checking out. The undeniably great and mellow track “Little Blu House” has today received a remix treatment from Little Dragon, turning this tight guitar song into some kind of synthed-out debauchery. It’s really rather great.
